Well I finall went and say it. 4 years, I have been watching this, through all the cast changes, and the rumors. Its a good movie.
Emmy Rossum is sublime. When I first heard her voice in Nola I knew she was going to be someone special. She is perfect for Christine, she has that young inoccent look and man oh man she can sing.
Gerard Butler, nope, he can't pull of Phantom. (and now he is Beowulf...
)Patrick Wilson does a good job as Raul, I think he will do well.
Jennifer Ellison blew me away, I know she is a cute little blonde but I had no idea she could act and sing as well as she could, very good job.
You really should see it in the theatre before it goes away just so you can get full effects of the sounds.
