I thought it was a pretty good movie, some plot flaws, but good movie.

It is shot well, has good cinematography and good characters, but I never understood what the hell was going on. I can't tell if its a civil war or what the heck they were fighting about the whole time. Anyway, I thought the story needed to be developed further, but its worth seeing once, has some awesome sword play and martial arts in it.

the reason they are fighting is because the general guy wanted to get rid of all the samarai traditions and go modern. the samarais were fighting to keep tradition and respect.

Tired when i posted that up. But I really really liked this movie. The cinematography was great. Not sure the chick would fall for the killer of her husband but he was a student of life and learned from them and fought with them.
