Winter Fishing is turning on

Post by skinnyme »

I almost never fish in galveston and most of the time will try to avoid it like a disease, but when it starts getting cold and the crowds dwindle its time to start beating up on the galvatraz fish.

Headed out to gbay last saturday for a quick trip and this what I got. Not to bad for a couple hour trip. All of the fish were caught on plastics. Went back out sunday and had 4 in the box in an 1.5 hrs and left,,,had enough for dinner that night.

Sweet stringer. I've seen trout chasing bait in the green lights Wed and Thurs nights. Last year it was mid March before I saw the fish in the lights. It's been so warm down here... :)
Quit skybustin'... My dog ain't swimming that far, you go get that bird yourself...
