A very interesting movie about the battle of Iwo Jima and the effect of war on peoples lives. Directed by Clint Eastwood. A must see for any history fan. Be forewarned, very realistic war scenes, similar to Saving Private Ryan be even more so.
My old foreman who I worked under 25-30 years ago served there. He died last spring.... like so many other WWII Vets have in the last 20 years.
