Daggum Dog!

Post by Mallardslayyer »

 Well, supposed to head south last night for a hunt on my buddies ponds this morning. One of the few times I will be able to. I leave work early yesterday only to get home and find my dog is gone! This is the second time now that he has gotten out. Screwed up my hunt and now I have to start calling the local jailhouses to see if they have picked him up!

Mixture of being pissed off but also concerned that I won't find him.

The pound called my wife yesterday late afternoon to let us know they picked Jake up. They found him a few miles away in an apartment complex swimming pool swiming around and playing with a ball that he evidently found during his adventure.

Since this waas his second offense I had to pay 50 bucks to get him out. If he gets out again it will be 100 dollars! I am still trying to figure out how he escaped??

Thanks.

Yes, I thought it was quite hilarious. The guy who picked him up said he knew he was a hunting dog because of his camo collar, so he wistled at him and told him to "kennel up", Jake immediately ran over there and jumped right on in. Thats good, and bad I guess...that he listens to anyone. oh well, at least he is back.....
