I'm seeing more and more of those ring-necks on our hunting club at Damon.

Early worries that they might cause problems wtih our native doves are unfounded.

I'm hoping that they really take hold and we end up with a ton of them.

I've seen fewer ringnecks this year than I saw last year. I shot 85 in one afternoon last year about this time. I talked with a game warden and he said to pull the plug out bait em up and blast away! Those dudes taste just as good as a mourning dove and they are twice as big. A little harder to kill though. You pretty much have to hit em in the teeth to bring em down.
