read the book a few years ago, saw the movie last night. the book was awesome, the movie was nothing like the book and took plenty of shots at the evil "gun industry"
really didnt enjoy it all that much..however, hackman was AWESOME!

wasn't the book about the tobacco industry? I had read the book a few years ago and I rented the movie recently and it took me a second to figure out what was going on because it was nothing like I remembered it.
Anyway, I guess they changed the subject of the trial since the tobacco industry used to be invincible and now they aren't. I guess the gun manufacturers are the nest industry to go down.
