Now you staple the bottom. I like to fold both edges of the rag inside so I am stapling thru a double thickness of rag. By making the first knot with the rag inside out it makes this part go much quicker and easier for me because the rag wants to go that way. Be sure you leave about a 6" vent a...

Next I turn the rag right side out and tie the front corners in an overhand knot.

Next you tie an overhand knot in the tail. I tie mine to where there is probably 5" of tail past the knot.

Next you fold it lengthwise from corner to corner disecting the tail, I do this inside out for a reason I will point out in a minute.

Tying windsocks with Texas rags.

This will be real elementary to a whole lot of ya'll but it may help someone out. I am hoping some folks will post up and add their little tricks, too. I'll start by saying there are many different ways to do this, this is just the way I do it and it is an easy quick way, at least for me. When appli...

I had a RNT Original and I have a Daisy Cutter. I like the straight barrel better than either of them. I think my straight barrel blows easier than the original and I know it blows a lot easier than my Daisy Cutter. It's raspier than the original and as raspy as the Daisy Cutter but it's louder. I d...

We had Mojo out early and they decoyed great then later when they quit decoying and were just circling I first turned it off then pulled it and the results were the same.

If he got lost I think it will be your duty and right to give him unmitigated hell after the ribbing he dished out on the opener, Buttershot.

I think you need to reread the instructions on your profile. They want your location as in where you are at, not what you are.

You betcha. I got an acrylic straight barrel in ivory before the season in a trade and I really like it. It is loud but easy to blow and raspy. DUKFVR also has a straight barrel but a double reed straight barrel. Get his opinion, too. Great call IMO. If you are coming to the Fuge hunt you can try mi...

I like to catch green trout from time to time. I'm hoping to book a trip with Roger this spring for a shot at a big 'ol bucketmouth.

Ya'll joke about the mallards at PP but I swear I have seen more mallards on the coast so far this season than I saw all of the last five seasons. Ask Drundel, Do Knob and DUKFVR, we saw quite a few on sunday not 15 miles from the bay.
